Beansprout Pediatrics

Have you heard? There’s a new doc in town and she’s almost ready to open the doors to her new practice. You might want to camp out overnight on September 7th, because on September 8th, you don’t want to miss out on getting in. Dr. Grant is pretty cool, but her office is super fun if I do say so myself. But seriously, this lady is superwoman…designing and building a new office, giving birth to a beautiful little baby girl (photos to follow, soon!) and TCBin’ life in a new city all within a span of just a few months. She’s proof, ladies…you can have it all! Congratulations, Danielle! You are someone I really admire!

Give her a call if you’re in the market for a pediatrician! 512.610.7030. www.beansproutpediatrics.com

Check out these pictures of the canvases I made for her office. Super cute, no? Some of them are from a session I did with her kids, some of them are my kids, others are all of those kids’ cousins. It’s a happy place full of sweet faces!

Happy Valentine’s Day

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Amanda of Big Day Event Productions at Phil’s Icehouse. Afterwards, we ventured over to Amy’s Ice Creams headquarters to get a glimpse of the chocolate strawberry elves in action. Imagine walking into a warehouse filled to the brim with strawberries and chocolate in various states of blissful candying. Ah, the aroma. There were about oh, I don’t know 50 or so people in there cutting, dipping, stirring, inspecting and decorating all in the name of the ultimate statement of LOVE -  Amy’s chocolate covered strawberries. That’s right. I said it. I was so excited that I left there amazed and forgot to get my own dozen. Luckily, the sweet man in my life picked me up some on his way home from work today. Ahhhhh!

Christmas in July

The Allan House, a lovely historic home in the heart of Austin, held it’s annual Christmas in July event this past Wednesday. Angela puts on a great party! Standing near the ice sculpture almost felt like winter!

Brides, this is a gorgeous place to have a wedding!

Below are a few of the images from the event.  Here is a complete gallery. I had a great time, Angela! Thanks again for inviting me!

Ballet Austin

I was asked to be the official photographer of the Grand Opening of the Butler Dance Education Center. I was extremely honored to be a part of such an exciting event. There was so much energy and excitement in the air. There was food, drinks, activities for the kiddos including a wire sculpture art table provided by Umlauf Sculpture Garden and a dance video game. There was a dance party going on in one studio. In the other studios, people were taking ballet, tap, hula, yoga, pilates and many other classes. Later in the evening Rhythm Congress played some great live music. People were everywhere watching, dancing and having a good time. It was great fun and I’m so thankful that I was invited to be a part of it! Here are a few of the pictures from the day. You can also view the entire day on my website under the FEATURED gallery. www.annazatopek.com.
